Strategic Advisory Board

BTAS Strategic Advisory Board (SAB):

The SAB is a source of independent advice, support and challenge to BTAS and COIC on strategic issues or risks. However, it is not a directional board, and does not take decisions nor vote on any matter. The SAB:

Ensures the provision of accurate, timely and clear information to BTAS and/or COIC to assist them in meeting their organisational and performance requirements;
Develops and oversees strategies to deliver tangible improvements to the adjudication of barristers, students and applicants to the Inns; and
Ensures the interests of all stakeholders, and influence of those who additionally advise the SAB, are fairly balanced.
